There's nothing...nothing more relaxing than to light up a few candles, turn your fairy lights on, get all snuggle in your favourite blanket, drink a nice warm cup of your favourite tea (mine is black tea with apple and cinnamon or just apple and cinnamon...I like to vary lol) and watch a movie/tv show of choice while doing absolute nothing.
This is why autumn nights are my favourites.
The school/work/life stress is getting more intense however, as leaves are starting to fall and the weather is getting more and more cold every minute, there's something about the earlier darkness of the night sky and sound of brief moments of rain hitting the window that just gives me a magical felling!
During this autumn nights, I like to grab any chance I have to cozy up and relax so when the next day comes, with all the work to do, things to study, books to read (school related) and scripts to decorate and rehearse/practice, I can do it with my head high and without over stressing.
If you are like me and you over stress very easily about little things that some times turn out to be not important...You NEED to take some time off, surround yourself with the things that makes you happy and calm, and just BREATH.
Undress all the worries that you carry around with you every moment and enjoy your time off.
For me, I like to, as I said before, light up a few candles, turn my fairy lights on, get all snuggle in my favourite blanket, drink a nice warm cup of my favourite tea, watch a movie/tv show/youtube videos (I'm in a vlogmas phase...as always) of choice while doing absolute nothing and... enjoying the company of the best little monsters/dragons also none as Miavila and Cookie Lyon...my adorable and crazy cats. It wouldn't be a real autumn relaxing night/time off otherwise.
My favourite type of films to watch in this moments have to be romantic comedies or romances that make your heart warm and sometimes (very often tbh), due to the fact that the ends are not the happiest, make your eyes look like a broken tap that just can't stop pouring water...i'm this kind of girl.
Some of my recent and more amazing movie choices for this moments are: Me Before You; Man Up and 5 to 7. I think I'm going to make a more complete list of movie favourites and how/when/why I like to watch them very soon, so if this is something you would like to read just wait, it is coming!
For tv shows, i'm currently re-watching How I Met Your Mother. I believe that sitcoms like this and Friends are the best for relaxing and having the perfect time off.
How could I give my best and work my hardest every single day if I didn't treat myself with a time to breathe and just relax?
Lots of love,
Rafaela
